9th IPAPH Training Course - 2007

In collaboration with CDC/IUHPE, WHO/WPRO/SEARO and the Ministry of Health/Thailand the Centre for Physical Activity and Health (CPAH)/University of Sydney conducted the 9th International Course on Physical Activity and Public Health, from 22-24th August 2007.

5th IPAPH Training Course - 2006

CPAH contributed to the 5th International Physical Activity and Public Health Training Course held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in May 2006. This course was conducted in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Health, with support from CDC/IUHPE and also from WHO in the Western Pacific Office.

Global physical activity - measurement and surveillance

Melbourne Exhibition Centre , Suite 2, level 5
Monday 26th April 2004, 8am to 4pm

Purpose: to review international methods for measurement of physical activity in populations, and to update on recent instruments, surveillance systems and future directions for global PA surveillance

Registration will be limited to 100 people (due to the size of the room available). Those interested in physical activity as part of behavioral surveillance in populations and globally are encouraged to register early.

Cost: 50 Australian dollars (covers costs of lunch and tea). Those from developing countries, or others such as postgraduate students who have limited budgets, can seek to have the registration fee waived, and this will be permitted. Please indicate this on registration.
